The Festa del Trillante was born with the aim of celebrating the anniversary of the birth and establishment of I Trillanti, recreating the sensations that they themselves felt: emotion, fun and desire to share. For the occasion, internationally renowned artists are contacted every year who are able to provide an important contribution of attraction for the success of the event which, also in 2019, will take place in a place in Ciociaria. An initiative of great local resonance, therefore, whose importance is amplified even more by the great involvement of young and old, in a climate of aggregation and socialization that aims to eliminate any social barrier or limit. It is precisely along this path that, for about 6 years, the project has been moving, so that the knowledge of popular culture is gradually disseminated in a widespread manner and so that the greatest number of people, residents and non-residents, can enjoy this knowledge.
Over the various editions, many artists have taken turns: from Alessia Tondo to Marcello Colasurdo; from Antonio Castrignanò to Rachele Andrioli and Rocco Nigro; from Giancarlo Paglialunga to Mauro Durante; from Nando Citarella and Gabriella Aiello to Damadakà; from Maria Piscopo and Dario Mogavero to Damadakà; from Andrea De Siena and Veronica Calati to Silvia Perrone; from Salentrio to Paranza D'O Lione; from Massimiliano Morabito to Enzo Esposito.
The Festa del Trillante is, therefore, the territory; they are the places, the dances, the music and the notes of memory (from the landscape to the songs, to the natural beauties, to the stories) that educate to understanding in the deepest sense of the term: their languages are participatory, multivalent; in them words, images, movements and spaces intersect; they represent the common denominator of a multifaceted universe that reflects the realities of our territory which, despite its simplicity, is formed by a great variety of cultures.
