THE TRILLANTI / BIOGRAPHY

The Trillanti were founded in 2013 to sing out loud—in the squares, on the streets, and from house to house—the stornelli and songs of Ciociaria, their native region. Since 2013, many things have happened and gradually changed. Today, we have arrived at the definition of a project that moves along two tracks, both anchored to the roots of our homeland: on the one hand, the path of research and recovery, to preserve, conserve, and bring to light—wrapped in a cloak of boldness and innovative arrangements—traditional songs known only to a select few singers; on the other, the path of creation: singing the contemporaneity of today's world through original songs and using instruments, sounds, and dances from the past and present, to discover how deeply intertwined these two dimensions actually are.
A work of primary cultural importance, therefore, for the people who give and receive in exchange the dignity of the intangible dance and music beauties of Lazio and central and southern Italy.
After approximately nine years of activity—years during which we produced three albums entitled "Stornelli a Pandemia Live," "Vènto Aquilòne," and "Bonì Bonanno"— Years spent between Italy and abroad (through participation in festivals such as, to name a few,
the "National and European Conservatory Festival," which earned us a bronze medal
